www.bleedingcool.com/2014/06/10/some-avengers-age-of-ultron-plot-details-come-to-light-and-seem-to-check-out/There’s one big problem with Latino Review’s account of “the first 15-20 minutes” of Avengers: Age of Ultron and it’s that there’s no way on this green Earth Joss Whedon would take a full fifteen minutes to get through such a meagre amount of material. By the sixteen minute mark of his last film – which includes over a minute of opening titles – we’re in India, meeting Bruce Banner. According to the story, anyway, Ultron will open with an action scene, as did The Avengers. This time the team are squaring off against Baron von Strrucker and “the twins,” Quicksilver and The Scarlet Witch. The Avengers have come in to reclaim artefacts from the first film that have fallen into Strucker’s possession. After this – and, yes, I’m leaving a lot of the detail out – there’s a party. And… well, that’s it. It’s going to be a party full of character and witty banter and great little bits of set-up, for sure. But… I expect this is all going to be done by the ten minute mark. And where’s the set-up for Ultron in all of this? I can’t see Whedon going fifteen minutes into a film without seeding the main conflict. Anyway, we’ll see how it all shakes out on screen. For now, you can read Latino Review‘s spill. It meshes entirely with what shreds we’ve picked up and fleshes them out considerably.
