---Scott Steiner -Former WWE, WCW and TNA star Scott Steiner recently explained his side of frustrations with TNA Wrestling, Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff and a whole lot more.
It's well known that before the return of the Main Event Mafia in 2013, the company was looking to bring back the faction several years ago to boost the ratings. However, talks fell through when both Kevin Nash and Booker T made surprise returns to the WWE.
"They wanted to bring back something that drew the ratings, so they contacted me, Kevin and Booker again. And they offered us shitty contracts, you know? They actually said to my guy, 'well we'll give you this contract and see if you can get over.' They said that to me and Kevin ... it kind of pissed me off, but it was like, I'll prove myself again. But what happened is it pissed off Kevin and Booker, and they told them to f**k off, and they went off and did the Royal Rumble. That kind of pissed of the people at Spike TV - if you remember, they promoted us coming back for a good two months."
Scott Steiner has well-documented issues with Eric Bischoff and Hulk Hogan, and spoke on what started to cause those problems.
"I really started to find out what pieces of s**t Bischoff and Hogan really were. They were pissing me off because they were doing it to my friends. Guys they were trying to build TNA with - Roode, AJ and especially Kurt Angle. They went into the media markets, on radio and were burying them. It makes no sense, but if you've been around it before you realize what's going on."
The former "Big Poppa Pump" gave two big examples of why the TNA ratings are bad, and why Hogan and Bischoff are responsible for the company's downfall, in his opinion.
[TNA] is definitely in jeopardy. It's losing money and it's ratings are bad. How can you not look at [Hogan and Bischoff] - they haven't performed. Everybody has got to perform. How come they're not accountable for the s**t they're putting on TV? Him pushing his son? Hogan pushing his ***** **** worthless daughter who can't sing or dance. It's embarrassing man ... [TNA] is losing money because they gotta pay their contracts. No way would that work in a normal business setting. They've been there for almost three years, and they haven't done anything to spike the ratings. In a normal business setting, if you don't perform you lose your job."

Ultimate Warrior is in Los Angeles as well for things for 2K Sports, but he was not scheduled for anything related to WWE, at least as of yesterday. Rey Mysterio is there for the 2K Sports party. ---Notes from WWE Fan Axxess
Went to the 11am - 3pm Axxess out at Nokia today.
hey really ought to move this inside somewhere nearby as it is just too hot not only for the people waiting, but for the WWE Superstars as well.
I met Wade Barrett and he was complaining of the heat even though he at least had a partial cover above him. He said being English he wasn't built for sitting out in the sun.
Some of the signing that took place included John Cena, Daniel Bryan, and the Shield which were all VIP sessions. Others signing were Barrett, Eva Marie, Curtis Axel, Sin Cara with Rosa Mendes, The Usos and Tamina Snuka, I think the Miz might of been signing as well. Brodus Clay was doing a photo op.
They also had a Scooby Doo character and the van to promote the WrestleMania Scooby animated film. They were also giving out Fruity Pebbles at a booth. I could hear some of the stuff going on in the ring which were several NXT matches including a Championship, Tag Title, and Womens Title match. They also did the big reveal for the WWE 2K 14 game and ran off a bunch of the names in it which included Big John Studd who I think you missed in your post.
Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler were there for that. Damien Sandow came out as well and Ric Flair came out for a little confrontation with him. It is just entirely too hot in that location outside. One lady had to be helped by the paramedics, but she was walking so I guess she was okay.
Larry King jump ahead of everyone in the Shield signing with his three sons and people started an Injustice chant since we were all waiting a long time in the hot sun and he just jumped in and spent a while talking to them.
Rhey were doing surveys on the way out of Axxess so you can tell them your opinion. I wish they would allow space for a real opinion on how to make this much better for everyone, but I guess they rather just get generic feedback like the surveys they keep sending out on a weekly basis about the Total Divas show. As soon as it was done I needed to get to some air. That's my report. Will be at Summer Slam tomorrow.

----- From talking to tons of people in and around WWE today, the feeling coming out of last night's 2K14 press conference where Ric Flair hijacked the show is that the video game people weren't bothered at all about it, but the WWE side was pretty upset. "Infuriated" is probably pretty strong, but they weren't happy at all and it might have ruined Flair's chances at least short-term for a PR deal with the company. Don't expect the video to ever see the light of day from the WWE side but it is online in various places right now, including here.
--- Flair was pulled from the rest of the 2K14 PR.
--- We didn't mention it last night when recapping the Q&A, but Mick Foley made it abundantly clear that he can never wrestle again.
--- Ross tweeted that he was not drunk last night. I don't think anyone reputable ever said he was. He joked that the deal was sponsored by Grey Goose, but that was in reference to Flair. I can tell you that we got reports from fans who saw Flair in the bar literally all afternoon.
--- Primo and Epico are being repackaged as a matador tag team.
