Kurt Angle was recently paid with a bounced check by the promoters for a Sparkes Productions event in Winnipeg. Angle then received a second check from the promoter and that one also bounced. Finally this past week Angle received a money order and has been paid in full.
It appears the Sparkes Productions company is now out of business. The Canadian Wrestling Elite promotion in Winnipeg that had been working with Sparkes said the promoters' cell phone was disconnected, his website was down and they heard he was in financial and possible legal trouble.
