It will begin filming this year. WME handled the sale. FilmNation is dealing with international rights. The film is produced by Anthony Bregman. The Weinstein Co. is also distributing “Begin Again” on June 27 in the United States, Carney’s upcoming pic starring Keira Knightley, Mark Ruffalo and Adam Levine. Harvey Weinstein opened his presentation to buyers and journalists on Friday night in Cannes with a trailer for “Begin Again,” which he acquired in Toronto for $7 million and screened as the closing night film of the Tribeca Film Festival.
