variety.com/2014/scene/news/ron-howards-connecticut-estate-up-for-sale-1201180043/Ron Howard is selling the 32-acre estate he’s owned for 20 years, located in the Conyers Farm gated community in Greenwich, Conn. Asking price is $27.5 million. The property is a working farm, boasting an organic vegetable garden, greenhouse, livestock and horse barns, along with paddocks and a riding ring. Also on the grounds: an observatory and nature trails. The lakefront home measures more than 17,000 sq. ft., with six bedrooms, five full and four half baths, a two-story library, a 14-seat theater, game room and indoor pool. There’s a 2,500-sq.-ft. guest house and an indoor sports complex as well. The home was made to entertain; it’s been the site of two weddings and many fundraisers. Coldwell Banker’s Steve Sawaii was the referring broker for the property, as well as Howard’s real estate agent and Tamar Lurie was the listing agent.
