Project is from two of France’s leading production houses, Sylvie Pialat’s arthouse shingle Les Films du Worso, which has “Timbuktu” competing in Cannes, and Jean-Baptiste Dupont and Cyril Colbeau-Justin’s LGM, which had a hit with Guillaume Gallienne’s “Me, Myself and Mum.” Penned by Nicloux, “Love” stars Depardieu and Huppert as two famous actors who had a son 25 years ago and reunite after his death. They each receive a letter from him asking them to travel together to Death Valley and visit five places in order to see him reappear. Shooting stars in the fall and will take place on location. Pic will film mostly in French with some English dialogue. Pialat’s credits include Un Certain Regard-winning pic “Stranger in the Lake,” directed by Alain Guiraudie, and Nicloux’s “The Nun.”
