She was 91. O’Shea was head writer on ABC’s “One Life to Live” for much of the 1980s, sometimes in conjunction with Sam Hall. She was head writer on CBS’ “Capitol” during roughly the same period. She worked on a range of other shows with her husband, TV writer Lou Shaw, penning episodes of “Dr. Kildare,” “Ben Casey” and “Have Gun Will Travel,” among others. O’Shea is survived by Shaw, who created the show “Quincy, M.E.”
