He was 59. His book “The Inner Game of Screenwriting” was published in 2011. Born in Springfield, Massachusetts, Frank had a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and a law degree from Harvard. He practiced law for a short time before beginning his screenwriting career. He is survived by his wife, Pamela; three daughters; and a brother.
