This story takes place before we landed on the moon, so it is set in the 1960's. The Strangers are a superhero team that fights a group called O.C.C.U.L.T. O.C.C.U.L.T. takes over a Caribbean Island and the Strangers are sent there to find out why they want the island. They are digging at some ancient ruins and it is a continued story in #2 out this July. This is a really entertaining book. The writing is good and the art is funky. It reminds me of Mike Mignola drawing it. I am interested in finding out what happens in issue 2, so they accomplished their mission to get me hooked.
