This is two stories in one.The new story is the origin of the melter. He was trying to recreate the Iron Man armor, when his version of the repulsor rays malfunctioned and "melted". Iron man and War Machine track him to a junk yard and take him down.
The reprint story is from the Roy Thomas Editor in Chief run. They never give you the issue number.Iron Man fights the Melter, Whiplash and Man-Bull at the San Diego Comic Con. This is really entertaining and I really recommend you at least looking at this book.
