The Will and Ann Eisner Family Foundation is seeking applications for its 2014 grants supporting graphic novels in libraries; the deadline for applications is February 7th. The Eisner Foundation became involved with libraries in 2012, when it first announced a program of grants.
The program has evolved since it was first announced and this year involves two grants, one for a library that would like to expand its graphic novel services and programs, and one for a library launching graphic novel services and programs.
Each library selected will receive $4,000, a collection of Eisner’s works and biographies, the graphic novels nominated for the Eisner Awards, and travel expenses for a library representative to attend the American Library Association Annual Conference to receive the grant.
