WWE Live show results
February 1, 2014
Orlando, Fla.
I got to my seat around 7:10 p.m. There was a vote going on for Diva Dance-off or Divas tag match later in the show. The crowd booed loudly every time "dance-off" took the lead.
(1) R-Truth beat Fandango. Truth over-did the "What's Up?" shtick. Overall, a mediocre match. Decent, but nothing special.
(2) Funkadactlys (Cameron & Naomi) beat Alicia Fox & Aksana. Raw GM Brad Maddox came out and declared that we have the power and this contest would be a tag match. Thank God.
(3) Titus O'Neil beat Curt Hawkins. O'Neil, fresh off his heel turn on Smackdown, came out and bashed Orlando and our sports teams. Pretty funny and got him good heat. Titus won a very slow, boring match, but his heel tactics were good.
(4) Adrian Neville beat NXT champion Bo Dallas in a non-title match. Good action. High-flying and fast-paced. Neville was impressive with key spots flipping onto Dallas on the outside and a modified 450 splash for the win.
(5) Cody Rhodes & Goldust beat Real Americans (Jack Swagger & Antonio Cesaro w/Zeb Colter). Goldust is an under-rated legend, Rhodes is nice, Swagger is good, and Colter cut a good promo and was funny at ringside. We saw Cesaro do the swinggggg - what more can I say? Great match.
(6) Sin Cara & Los Matadores beat 3MB in a six-man tag match. I was at the concession stand for this quick match.
(7) Big Show beat Kane. Average match. About as good as you will get from these two considering where they are at this stage of their careers.
(8) John Cena beat WWE World Hvt. champion Randy Orton via DQ; Orton retained the WWE World Title. A cheap version of their Royal Rumble match - the same referee spot for a weak finish. Orton hit a low blow for a DQ. Cena then hit the AA to end the show.
