There is talk that the March 2nd Wrestle 1 event at Sumo Hall in Tokyo, Japan will have a theme of TNA vs. Wrestle 1.

Wrestle-1 in Japan announced the following matches this morning for the 3/2 TNA One Night Only PPV taping:
*TNA champion Magnus vs. Kai
*TNA Tag Team champions The Bromans vs. Shuji Kondo & Kaz Hayashi.
*TNA X-Division champion Austin Aries vs. Seiya Sanada.
KAI won a 1-night 4-man tournament to earn his shot. Kondo & Hayashi won a number one contenders tag team match to earn theirs and Sanada won a 20 Man Battle Royal to earn his.
The show will air live in Japan and will be aired later in the year as a One Night Only PPV special.

Earlier today WRESTLE-1 announced two new matches for their March 2nd joint show with TNA:
* Bobby Roode vs. Masakatsu Funaki
*Bad Influence (Kazarian & Christopher Daniels) vs. Junior Stars (Minoru Tanaka & Koji Kanemoto)

The updated lineup for the 3/2 Wrestle-1 vs. TNA event, which will be taped as a TNA: One Night Only PPV for later this year while airing live in Japan will feature:
*TNA champion Magnus vs. KAI
*TNA Tag Team champion The Wolves (Davey Richards & Eddie Edwards) vs. Team 246 (Shuji Kondo & Kaz Hayashi)
*TNA X-Division champion Austin Aries vs. Seiya Sanada

*Satoshi Kojima vs. Yasufumi Nakanoue

Advance ticket sales for the upcoming 3/2 joint Wrestle-1/TNA event in Tokyo, Japan at the Ryogoku Kokugikan Sumo Arena were described as being very poor according to a report by Bryan Alvarez. The event is expected to be heavily papered.

Below are quick results from the TNA vs Wrestle-1 show last night at the Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo, Japan:
- Christopher Daniels & Kazarian defeated Minoru Tanaka & Koji Kanemoto
- Gail Kim defeated Madison Rayne
- Yoshihiro Takayama vs Abyss ended in a no contest when Abyss laid thumbtacks on the ramp and choke-slammed Takayama on the tacks. Both men could not answer the 10 count.
- Masakatsu Funaki defeated Bobby Roode: Following his win, Funaki challenged Kurt Angle to a match.
- Keiji Mutoh, Rob Terry & mystery partner Taiyo Kea defeated. Samoa Joe, Masayuki Kono & Rene Dupree when Samoa Joe walked away from his team mid-match and allowed Mutoh to get the win for his team.
- The Bromans defeated The Wolves" Davey Richards & Eddie Edwards , Kaz Hayashi & Shuji Kondo to regain their TNA World Heavyweight championships.
- Seiya Sanada defeated Austin Aries to win the TNA X Division championship.
- Magnus defeated KAI to retain the TNA World Heavyweight Title.
