They were only shown behind closed doors at the Toy Fair yesterday but Lego have today sent me their press release announcing Guardians of the Galaxy Lego sets, to tie in with the movie and set for release this June.
At the moment all they’re saying is that there’s three sets, each recreating a set piece from the movie. More details, and images, will be forthcoming on February, likely just ahead of the New York Toy Fair.
Something tells me that one of the sets will be based on the ship you see in this image and come with a full set of Guardians mini-figs – Rocket, Groot, Star Lord, Gamora and Drax.
I don’t know if any of the Ronan, Nebula or Nova minifigs will come in that set too or if you’ll have to buy one of the others to get them. And I haven’t yet had any indication of Yondu or The Collector minifigs.
