RICOCHET VS. THE AMAZING RED, TESSA BLANCHARD VS. SONYA STRONG, ANTHONY GANGONE & MORE: 9/29 HOUSE OF GLORY RESULTS FROM QUEENS
By H.B. Jones on 2017-09-30 01:06:00
House of Glory returned to the Elks Lodge in Queens, NY on Friday 9/29. Here are the results of the event, titled Chapter Two:
The opener was Anthony Gangone defending his Crown Jewel title against Ken Broadway. Pretty good bout. During the last few minutes, Leroy Green came out and cashed in his contract. Green actually pinned Broadway with the roll up, becoming the new champ. Gangone will likely get a rematch, since he was never pinned. Gangone was pissed and beat the referee up.
HOG official Rob Blatt came to the ring and presented the HOG Women’s title belt. Violette came to the ring to announce that she’s coming for that belt. A woman that was the size and look of Tamina, ran in and grabbed Blatt by the throat and then powerbombed the ref and gorilla pressed outside the ring and onto security.
Private Party defeated the Herbal Affairs of House of Gangone in a great back and forth match.
GH Flanders defeated Caveman in a solid match.
HOG Tag Team Title Match: Monsta Mack (sans Dan Maff - who did not appear as advertised) defeated NYWK by DQ. MVP ran in to make the save. A few minutes after that occurred, EYFBO (aka LAX's Draztik & Ortiz) came out and their HOG return, challenging NYWK for the titles.
Evander James won in another good match, which was a 6-way scramble match.
Aside from a few moments of miscommunication, onya Strong defeated Tessa Blanchard in a nice back and forth match
In a surprisingly really good tag match, Smiley & Juba defeated TJ Marconi & Brian Burgundy.
The match of the night was The Amazing Red retaining his HOG world title against Ricochet in an awesome matchup. Afterwards, Gangone attacked Red, and posed with the belt, which he lost to Red last month.
HOG returns to Club Amazura on 10/21 in Jamaica with the debut of New Japan/ROH star Jay White.
