The Tampa Bay Times reported today that the Judge presiding over Hulk Hogan's sex tape lawsuit against Gawker.com ruled that the website can indeed post their story and video clips of the tape, featuring Hogan and Bubba the Love Sponge's then-wife Heather Clem. There was a temporary restraining order placed against the website in April 2013. The court ruled today that due the the publicity of the tape, it was a situation where the website was covering "matters of public concern." The restraining order has now been lifted.
According to the newspaper, the court rules, "Mr. Bollea failed to meet the heavy burden to overcome the presumption that the temporary injunction is invalid as an unconstitutional prior restraint under the First Amendment."
