'We've Discussed It,' Says FEIGE By George Marston, Newsarama Contributor June 28, 2017 08:35am ET As the Marvel Cinematic Universe expands - and the retirement of some of its top stars grows more likely - Marvel is looking at new heroes to fill the gaps. Now, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has revealed at least one of the names that's come up - none other than Captain Britain. “We have discussed it,” Feige told HeyUGuys when asked if Captain Britain could appear in Marvel's films. “There are a lot of actors that come in and ask about that part, so we’ll have to see.” Captain Britain was created by Chris Claremont and Herb Trimpe for Marvel U.K. before making his way across the pond. Throughout the 90s, Captain Britain was associated with the X-Men through Excalibur, but in recent years he's led his own team, MI-13, and been a part of Secret Avengers. Captain Britain's sister, Psylocke, is a longrunning X-Men character who was adapted for film as part of 2015's X-Men: Apocalypse.
