Scandal star Kerry Washington is doing screen-tests to portray Domino in the upcoming Deadpool sequel, according to The Hashtag Show. Citing unknown sources, The Hashtag Show claims Washington has emerged as the frontrunner despite not appearing in an initial purported shortlist.
Best known as the star of ABC's long-running hit Scandal, Washington has a comic book movie pedigree, appearing in the 2005 Fantastic Four (and its sequel) as Alicia Masters. She also voiced Shuri in the 2010 Black Panther animated series.
The Hashtag Show goes on to state that two of the actors from the aforementioned short-list, Sienna Miller and Guga Mbatha-Raw, have passed on the Domino role.
