TNA ANNOUNCES WORKING AGREEMENT WITH JAPAN'S PRO WRESTLING NOAH, FULL DETAILS & MORE By Mike Johnson & Paul Jordan on 2017-02-08 10:28:00
TNA announced today that they have entered into a working agreement with Pro Wrestling NOAH in Japan. We are told that Scott D'Amore helped broker the deal as he has done in the past for the company when it came to building relationships with WORLD-1 and New Japan Pro Wrestling. D'Amore has been firmly inside the Jeff Jarrett camp for some time and with Jarrett back within TNA, D'Amore is helping where he can.
Moose has already taken to Twitter teasing that he will be making a NOAH debut shortly.
Eddie Edwards is in Great Britain doing a media tour that was put together by Simon Rothstein, who had been at odds with the company over money owed to his agency, so with the new ownership, it would appear the relationship has been repaired to the point the two sides are working together again.
The official NOAH announcement, as issued this morning, reads:
As announced earlier today in Tokyo, Japan, IMPACT Wrestling and Pro Wrestling NOAH have come to terms on a working relationship. This is an exciting time for both companies with a more formal announcement coming soon.
In a Press Conference held earlier today, NOAH President Masayuki Uchida made the official announcement.
We look forward to making a formal announcement soon in Tokyo and seeing IMPACT Stars compete at NOAH’s Yokohama event on March 12. We are thrilled to build this relationship even further with more details to come.
