Chris Messina to Star in 'We're Just Married' (Exclusive)
Lily Rabe also is starring in the film, which The Exchange will sell at EFM in Berlin.
Chris Messina is joining Lily Rabe in the dramedy We're Just Married.
Rodrigo Garcia (Blue) is directing the 1970s-set film, which follows Mary, a suburban wife who ends her marriage after having an affair with her neighbor, and wreaks havoc on the quiet cul-de-sac.
The Exchange is handling international sales, and will introduce the project to buyers at the European Film Market in Berlin this month. WME Global is handling domestic rights.
"Chris Messina is such a talented seasoned actor, who will bring a solid international value to the project," said Brian O’Shea, CEO of The Exchange.
Rabe and Bettina Barrow are producing the project, which has an original screenplay by David Rabe (The Firm).
Messina was most recently seen in Ben Affleck’s Live by Night and Joe Swanberg’s Digging for Fire. He’s repped by WME and Gendler & Kelly. He is represented by WME and Gendler & Kelly.
