We’ve noted in recent weeks that WWE is looking to bring independent wrestling to the WWE Network, likely a response to streaming service FloSlam signing companies left and right. A deal has already been agreed upon with UK promotion ICW and you probably noticed officials from Progress and Over The Top shown on camera during the UK Championship Tournament. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE is in talks with both Progress and OTT about bringing them to the Network.
An official announcement of the ICW deal (and other companies, if the deals are made) could come as soon as this week.
