www.pwinsider.com/article/107083/tna-news-and-notes.html?p=1TNA NEWS AND NOTES By Mike Johnson on 2017-01-13 11:08:00 The TNA initials were pretty much sandblasted from Impact Wrestling's Twitter account over the last several days, so expect those to be ignored even more than ever before. In one of those "only in TNA" moments, The Fight Network in Canada and the new App for the UK aired the wrong episode of Impact Wrestling last night. The correct episode was later aired. Since we have gotten a few emails asking about this, as far as we have heard, talents are caught up on pay. Matt and Jeff Hardy will challenge MCW Tag Team champions The Ecktourage at the 1/28 MCW event in Joppa, Maryland. For details, visit www.MCWProWrestling.com. The new Liberace-inspired Aron Rex character was something that was pitched to WWE years ago back when they were bringing Damien Sandow up from FCW. That pitched eventually changed to the more "Intellectual" character that fans got to see instead. The next TV tapings are 3/2-3/9 in Orlando, Florida.

www.pwinsider.com/article/107093/what-happened-to-impact-in-canada-why-don-west-is-back-and-more-tna-news.html?p=1WHAT HAPPENED TO IMPACT IN CANADA, WHY DON WEST IS BACK AND MORE TNA NEWS By Mike Johnson on 2017-01-13 16:09:00 Last night's Impact Wrestling did not air as originally planned on The Fight Network as the file that was sent with the episode was corrupted. The Fight Network later played the correct episode as they were sent a new copy of the correct file but in the meantime, ran a repeat. The file sent to Pop did not have any issues. For those who have asked, Jeff Jarrett and Dutch Mantel had no say in the creative direction of this past week's Impact Wrestling tapings in Orlando. It was the team of John Gaburick, Matt Conway, etc. writing and directing the storylines, some of which were already in place before the end of the Billy Corgan era. Don West was brought back to help the company liquidate a lot of stock that is sitting in the warehouse in Nashville, TN. I was told it was a Jeff Jarrett suggestion. We are told there is going to be a massive unloading of merchandise with insane, even for Don West, deals. Seeing Don on the video today made me smile actually - he was always a great hand for the company and added a great deal to their merchandise and live event end and with all due respect to others, was a loss that was never, ever replaced. There is a lot of talk that TNA management and staff will all be condensed to be in one place. Currently, they are split between the TNA warehouse and the production office at Skyway Studios, which are located in two different areas of Nashville. I have said this on Elite audio, but I really wonder if the long-term plan will see Anthem move the company to Toronto when all is said and done. Dixie Carter was not involved with or at any of the Impact tapings this past week. That pretty much goes without saying, but since a few people asked, I wanted to clarify that.
