www.cbr.com/stan-lee-filmed-four-marvel-movie-cameos-in-one-day/At age 93, Stan Lee may show some signs of slowing down, but he’s clearly still capable of performing near-superhuman feats — including filming four cameos for Marvel Studios productions in a single day. Responding to an audience question following a special screening of “Captain America: Civil War” in Hollywood, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige said there’s nothing “random” about Lee’s legendary cameos, explaining, “They’re always very specific.” “A couple of months ago in Atlanta, he flew down and we shot four in one day — for four various projects,” he said. “They’re all awesome! They’re all totally different. And he was unbelievable. He was on fire. He came in, he sat here, he stood there, he stood in this window, and then he went home.” Marvel’s filmmaking juggling act also helped, as four of the nine movies set to be released over the next three years are either in post-production or being filmed: “Doctor Strange,” “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2,” “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” and “Thor: Ragnarok.” That enabled Lee to jump from project to project in such a brief period. Lee’s history of Marvel cameos dates back to the 1989 TV movie “The Trial of the Incredible Hulk.” Since then he’s appeared in more than two dozen films based of Marvel Comics characters. He’ll next be seen in “Doctor Strange,” which opens Nov. 4.
