We noted over the weekend that The New York Post ran a story on Billy Corgan and TNA ownership, which mentioned that WWE and ROH parent company Sinclair Broadcasting were rumored to put in bids for the purchase of TNA. Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that people very close to the situation have heard nothing on those rumors. Sinclair was involved in TNA talks months ago and it's possible they have returned to negotiations but they essentially just wanted TNA's TV times for ROH.
