It seems an old buddy of Han’s will be on board when the Solo Star Wars story takes off in 2018.
The Wrap reports the character, an earlier owner of the Millennium Falcon, will be along for the ride in the standalone Star Wars film focusing on the roguish galactic smuggler. Details on the plot are quite sketchy, so it’s unclear if Lando will still be in possession of the well-traveled ship. In fact, plot details are so hazy, no one is entirely sure when the film even takes place.
Though, if I were a betting man, I’d put a few credits on the film — which is currently untitled — being called Kessel Run. But then again, I’m not a Pazaak player.
