Daredevil is returning to Netflix. Exec producer Jeph Loeb revealed Thursday at the Comic-Con panel for Netflix's upcoming Marvel drama Luke Cage that the Charlie Cox starring Daredevil has been renewed for a third season. "If you like Daredevil, there's going to be even more Daredevil in season three," Loeb told the packed ballroom during Netflix and Marvel's first joint panel. Season three will return in 2017 and will see showrunners Doug Petrie and Marco Ramirez continue on with the drama, which was the first of Marvel's Netflix series. The panel also included a first look at the streaming giant's upcoming Marvel mash-up mini The Defenders, which will see Cox reprise his role as Daredevil alongside Krysten Ritter's Jessica Jones, Mike Colter's Luke Cage and Finn Jones' Iron Fist. For Marvel, the Daredevil renewal comes as the comic book powerhouse has found more success in television with Netflix fare. ABC in May canceled sophomore drama Agent Carter and passed on Agents of SHIELD spinoff Marvel's Most Wanted.
