deadline.com/2016/05/fatawesome-machinima-web-tales-mirzai-bros-1201750064/Digital Comedy Series ‘Web Tales’ From FatAwesome & Machinima To Run On Go90, Black List Writers The Mirzai Bros To Exec Produce Online comedy duo FatAwesome have partnered up with digital content outfit Machinima to write, produce, direct, and star in Web Tales, a 12-episode web series that will recreate funny, outlandish, and larger-than-life anecdotes from real life. Developed with and executive produced by Black List screenwriters Shea & Evan Mirzai, the series will stream on Verizon’s go90 video hosting service. Machinima’s Director of Development Pradeepa Jeeva will oversee on behalf of Machinima. With more than 53 million views on their Youtube channel, FatAwesome are the creators of the viral hit videos Cat Friend vs Dog Friend, for which they received a Webby award nomination. The duo previously sold a sketch comedy pilot to MTV2 with Ryan Ling producing. The pair have also created a successful line of self-produced comics featured on sites like CollegeHumor and FunnyOrDie. They’re repped by Chad Christopher at SGSBC. The Mirzai Bros. are currently writing a half hour comedy pilot for The Simpsons voice actress and producer Yeardley Smith and her partner Ben Cornwell through their PaperClip Ltd. banner. They also serve as Executive Producers on Origins at National Geographic alongside creator John Boswell (AKA melodysheep). They’re repped by Paradigm, Principato Young Entertainment and SGSBC.
