1.Dolph Ziggler vs. Fandango in the preshow match -Fandango won with a legdrop off the top rope after Ziggler had climbed to the top, but Summer Rae jumped on the apron to distract Ziggler. They made them rush in and out, like a Raw quickie in the days of the two hour show.
The pre-game show ended with HHH, Stephanie and Vince coming out of the limo.
Vince & Stephanie did an interview putting over the main event. The new history is in 1963 when Lou Thesz wrestled Buddy Rogers that both men claimed victory and that's how the two titles broke apart. It's not exactly true. In fact, it's not even close to true.
Now a cool video of past champions including Bruno Sammartino, Buddy Roers, even a clip of Frank Gotch, Flair, The Funks, Race, Dusty, Moraless, Undertaker, Graham and more.
Michael Cole now called this the single most important night in WWE history.
2.C.M. PUNK VS. SETH ROLLINS & ROMAN REIGNS & DEAN AMBROSE-
They did an angle where Reigns missed a tackle and flew over the announcers table and began selling his eye. Reigns didn't work the rest of the match until the finish. Punk gave Rollins the GTS, but Ambrose escaped a GTS. Reigns went to spear Punk, who moved and nailed Ambrose and Punk pinned Ambrose. Good match, worked for what it was. Not as good as a typical Shield TV match.
A.J. allegedly mad she didn't get a Slammy even though she's been divas champion. She kissed the belt and left.
3.A.J. LEE VS. NATALYA FOR DIVAS TITLE-
A.J. retained the title. This was a very good match. The finish was Natalya going for a sharpshooter but A.J. used a small package while holding Natalya's hair. A.J. got out of the sharpshooter earlier and Natalya got out of the sharpshooter. As far as smooth working, these two were both strong.
4.BIG E LANGSTON VS. DAMIEN SANDOW FOR IC TITLE-
Crowd wasn't much into this. Just a showcase for putting Langston over, winning with a bodyblock off the ropes and the Big Ending. Okay match, about what you'd expect if they did the match on Raw.
Vince just wished Randy Orton well. He'll probably do the same for John Cena later.
They just announced Kofi Kingston vs. The Miz in a no DQ match later in the show.
5.THE RHODES BROTHERS VS. REAL AMERICANS VS. REY MYSTERIO & BIG SHOW VS. RYBACK & CURTIS AXEL FOR THE TAG TEAM TITLES IN AN ELIMINATION MATCH-
Goldust pinned Ryback after a schoolboy in the first elimination
Show used a knockout punch on both Swagger and Cesaro and pinned Cesaro
So it's Rhodes Brothers vs. Rey & Show for the titles
The match went more than 21 minutes, ending when Cody pinned Mysterio after crossroads. Everyone shook hands when it was over. Goldust did a great job here and the last few sequences with Cody and Mysterio were very good. Good, best thing so far.
Tit's O'Neil, Dareen Young and Great Khali, as well as Los Matadores & Torito were all fighting with their Brawling Buddies until Vickie Guerrero and Brad Maddox showed. Vickie Guerrero liked the Brodus Clay buddy. Maddox played with Cena and fought with "Vickie's Clay buddy. Kane's music played and he showed up. and had the Clay doll destroy the Cena doll.
6.BRODUS CLAY VS. R-TRUTH-
Crowd was dead. Clay took the whole match playing monster heel. He kept beating on R-Truth and Tensai kept telling him to win. Clay and Tensai argued until Clay told Tensai he was better than him. Tensai and Cameron & Naomi all walked off. Clay was mad, turned around and R-Truth dropkicked and schoolboyed him. It was part of the storyline but nobody cared.
Vince McMahon wished John Cena luck.
7.THE MIZ VS. KOFI KINGSTON IN A NO DQ MATCH-
Crowd turned on this match with "boring" chants. Really, what they did was solid but the people just didn't want to see it. Miz undid the padding on the top turnbuckle. Kingston missed the figure four. Miz went for the figure four, Kingston kicked Miz into the exposed metal, hit the Trouble in Paradise and got the pin.
8.DANIEL BRYAN VS. BRAY WYATT & ERICK ROWAN & LUKE HARPER-
They beat on Bryan most of the way until Bryan made a comeback on Rowan & Harper. He did a tope on Harper, knocking him over the announcers table. He then gave Rowan a drop toe hold on the floor into the steps. He gave Wyatt a missile dropkick and wnt for the Yes lock. Wyatt escaped, nailed him with a series of elbows from the top and used Sister Abigail for the clean pin on Bryan. It's very rare Bryan has a TV match that isn't considerably better than this, but match wasn't bad at all. It was Wyatt's best TV appearance in the ring on a big stage. A lot of the match was Wyatt telling Bryan to join him.
9.JOHN CENA VS. RANDY ORTON IN A TLC MATCH IN A TITLE UNIFICATION MATCH-
Orton became the champion. Match was very safer than usual, no ladder bumps or crazy bumps or falls on the ladder. Orton took an Attitude Adjustment through the Spanish table once. The commentary and entire show pretended the whole 2001-2002 unified title period never happened. Match was good as far as going back and forth although nothing in the way of wrestling. Cena once had it won, but Orton pulled the ladder away from him so Cena hung from the top and Orton knocked Cena down with a chair shot. Later Orton handcuffed Cena to the corner and threw the key into the crowd. Orton climbed up, but Cena undid the ropes from the turnbuckles and climbed in to knock Orton off the ladder. But Cena couldn't grab the belt with one arm. Orton pulled on the ropes Cena was handcuffed to, pulled him off the ladder and Cena hit a table in the corner head first. Orton then climbed up to win.
Vince McMahon, HHH and Stephanie all came out. HHH and Stephanie were clapping while Vince didn't look as happy, but he did smile in presenting Orton as the winner..
