FilmBuff has acquired worldwide rights to Jane Wants A Boyfriend starring Louisa Krause, Eliza Dushku and Gabriel Ebert. The film centers on sisters Jane, a bright-eyed twentysomething living with Aspergers, and Bianca, her overprotective and recently engaged older sibling. When their parents announce they are moving out of their Brooklyn brownstone, they propose the sisters move in together — a suggestion that throws Bianca’s newly engaged life for a loop and forces her to re-examine her relationship with her sister. FilmBuff will release the film in theaters and on all major digital platforms March 25.
William C. Sullivan directed and produced the screenplay written by Jarrett Kerr. Lauren Brady, Anne Dempsey, Josh Fisher, Findlay Parke and Brian Streem also produce.
