www.bleedingcool.com/2016/01/28/mark-ruffalo-says-an-interesting-arc-lay-ahead-for-the-hulk/In the past, actor Mark Ruffalo has offered an answer about rights issues when asked about the likelihood of a Hulk solo film. But he recently told Yahoo! Movies (spotted by comicbook.com) that the storyline in the upcoming Marvel Studios films will feel like Hulk’s solo outing. “We’ve worked a really interesting arc into Thor 3, Avengers 3 and 4 for Banner that I think will – when it’s all added up – will feel like a Hulk movie, a standalone movie,” he said. He also reiterated the rights issue between Universal and Marvel that keeps a Hulk movie from going into development. As currently understood, Universal has “the right of first refusal“ to distribute the film should Marvel ever put one into development. In the meantime, Ruffalo said he is preparing to Thor: Ragnarok, which will see the Hulk team up with Thor. Director Taika Waititi recently said will be infused with more humor than the previous Thor outings.
