www.bleedingcool.com/2016/01/15/rumor-indicates-how-peter-parker-will-meet-the-rest-of-the-mcu/Rumor Indicates How Peter Parker Will Meet The Rest Of The MCU Time for some Friday speculation. Geek.com reports they know how Peter Parker will come into play during the events of May’s Captain America: Civil War. Possible spoilers follow, of course … According to the report, Tony Stark, having watched Peter progress, will offer him a higher-tech version of his initial Spider-suit. A play on the Iron Spider in the original comic book. This part has been rumored before, but the interesting aspect is this: Since Iron Man takes place 10 years before we meet Peter in Civil War, where Peter is 15, that means Peter was five-years-old when Tony broke onto the scene in the original Iron Man, likely dominating the news as Peter grew into a teenager. Their source also indicates Peter idolizes Tony and will easily follow his lead. Of course, anything connected to Spider-Man’s introduction into the Marvel Cinematic Universe is subject to speculation and conjecture. But the idea that Peter grew up in this mixed up world of Iron Men and Hulks is interesting as the other cinematic Spider-Men existed in a vacuum, isolated from other heroes. That, at the very least, will make a huge difference on Peter’s eventual solo outing. Captain America: Civil War opens on May 6th.
