BillBlock Media, Red Granite International Set Multi-Year Pact
BillBlock Media has reached a multi-year agreement with Red Granite International to be the exclusive international sales agent for the company’s upcoming production slate. The deal was sealed by CEO Bill Block and RGI co-president Christian Mercuri.
The deal will fuel new slates for Block, whose most recent credits include Fury, and the upcoming Dirty Grandpa, the comedy that stars Robert De Niro and Zac Efron which Lionsgate releases January 22. Next up is Bad Moms, which STX puts into production this month with Mila Kunis and Christina Applegate starring. His BB Media plans to produce up to four titles per year. RGI will handle the overseas presales and be executive producer on select third party projects. There will also be co-financing and co-producing opportunities between BB Media and RGI.
“Bill Block has demonstrated time and time again a unique ability to identify and source quality material which has commercial appeal. RGI is thrilled to be working with him moving forward,” Mercuri said in a statement.
