The story is set 10 years after the events in previous Machinima series “Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist.” Alan Mousi will play Charlie and Mike Moh and Christian Howard are reprising their roles as Ryu and Ken respectively. Mousi’s Nash is targeting legendary “Street Fighter” champions for unknown reasons and Ryu and Ken are determined to find out why. Capcom and Machinma’s partnership has proved fruitful in the past. “Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist” managed to pull in over 17 million views in aggregate across the 12 episodes of the series’ run. Although shorter, “Street Fighter: Resurrection” stands to do just as well with the returning inclusion of series icons Ken and Ryu, the fan favorite Charlie Nash, and the fact that this series is a tie-in to the popular fighting game rather than just being a standalone using the same characters. “Street Fighter V” releases Feb. 16 on PS4 and PC and “Street Fighter: Resurrection” follows it in March.
