According to TVInsider, Disney XD has renewed Star Wars: Rebels for a third season.
The series follows Force-sensitive Ezra, ex-Padawan Kanan, former bounty hunter Sabine, ace pilot Hera, gruff Zeb other members of the nascent Rebel Alliance in a time period set between Episodes III and IV of the film series. Borrowing from the films and the earlier Star Wars: The Clone Wars series, characters like Ahsoka Tano and Lando Calrissian have made their way into the Rebels orbit. The series also features the voices of Freddie Prinze Jr, Taylor Gray, Vanessa Marshall, Ashley Eckstein and others.
Executive produced by Dave Filoni, the final batch of season two episodes air through December 12th on Disney XD.
