The film follows Thomas Kaiser, who inherits an ancestral mansion and discovers that with it comes an ancient curse that stretches back to the Crusades. Appointed a guardian tasked with keeping evil demons at bay, he teams up with ambitious local realtor and a paranormal cleric, while trying to awaken the titular sleeping beauty. The film stars Ethan Peck, India Eisley, Natalie Hall, and Bruce Davison. The pic is ritten and directed by Pearry Teo from a screenplay Teo wrote with Josh Nadler inspired by characters from the Brothers Grimm tale. Teo and Ehud Bleiberg produce. XLrator Media acquired rights from Bleiberg Entertainment, and the two companies also are partnering on an episodic series based on the movie; in addition, Everette Hartsoe is creating a tie-in comic. Bleiberg Entertainment and Red Granite International subsidiary Blue Box International are repping international sales rights at AFM.
