Matthew Vaughn To Direct Spy Thriller ‘I Am Pilgrim’ For MGM
MGM has found its director for I Am Pilgrim, the adaptation of Terry Hayes’ bestselling spy thriller that it acquired rights to in summer 2014. Matthew Vaughn, who nailed it in another spy pic this year, Fox’s Kingsman: The Secret Service, has signed on to helm the pic, which he will also produce and co-finance through his Marv Films. Hayes, a former journalist, adapted his book. This means MGM is going forward on the project and scheduling production for next year.
