Lucha Underground sent out a release that Shawn Hernandez has been released from his contract. That's been apparent since he showed up on TNA television and they got into the fight which ended up costing TNA indirectly its entire Beatdown Clan, since MVP was fired since he was the guy who recruited Hernandez, who had a valid Lucha Underground deal in place. Hernandez was the replacement for Samoa Joe, who left since TNA could no longer afford to give him the kind of contract he'd had over the past several years.
