Calof comes to DreamWorks from New Regency, where he served as VP Production working on Oscar Best Picture winners Birdman and 12 Years A Slave. “Andrew’s extensive experience and enthusiasm for film will be invaluable to our team,” said Bario in a statement. “He has terrific relationships with talent, and great taste in material.” Calof came to New Regency in 2011 from Paramount where as Director of Creative Affairs he worked on Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, World War Z and G.I. Joe: Retaliation. Calof began his career at Dimension/Miramax Films and The Todd Phillips Company where he specialized in acting as a production liaison on films with talent, filmmakers and producers.
