variety.com/2015/tv/news/relativity-television-production-deals-alibi-television-press-start-1201515594/Relativity Television Inks Overall Production Deals with Alibi TV & Press Start Relativity Television has inked new overall production deals with Alibi Television and Press Start, Tom Forman, CEO of Relativity Television, who delivered a keynote conversation at Variety‘s TV Summit 2015, announced Tuesday. Unscripted production company Alibi Television produces reality, talk and game show formats for network, cable and syndication. David Stone, previous VP of development for ABC daytime and syndication, and Joel Rodgers, who was the showrunner for VH1’s “Celebrity Rehab” and “Couple’s Therapy,” formed Alibi together. The duo previously worked together on Fox’s “Joe Billionaire” and “My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiancé.” Press Start, recently launched by Seth Goolnik, will focus on character-led programming. Goolnik previously headed up Twofour America, where he worked on shows for National Geographic, TLC and Animal Planet. Before Twofour, he was head of development at Raw TV where he developed shows for American and U.K. networks including Discovery’s “Jungle Gold” and BBC3’s “Strictly Soulmates.” The deals with Alibi and Press Start join Relativity’s lineup of overall deals, including The Jay and Tony Show, Ellen Rakieten Entertainment, Bill Thompson Productions, Bogner Entertainment and Relativity Lifestyles Television’s Brian Lando. Stone and Rodgers are repped by CAA and attorney Todd Weinstein. Goolnik is repped by CAA and attorney Tara Kole.
