Under the new pact, Thomas, whose CW series “iZombie” was recently renewed for Season 2, will develop projects under his Spondoolie Productions banner. He will also supervise other writers and creators. Thomas will continue to work with his “Veronica Mars” producing partners Danielle Stokdyk and Dan Etheridge, and exec produce all future Thomas and Spondoolie projects with the pair. Thomas got his start on “Dawson’s Creek.” Besides “iZombie,” which he co-created with Diane Ruggiero-Wright (“Veronica Mars”), the writer/producer also co-created CW’s revival of “90210,” plus the Starz comedy “Party Down.” He also wrote and directed the 2014 fan-favorite “Veronica Mars” movie, which broke records with Kickstarter.
