The executive producer of the upcoming Full House sequel today confirmed that Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen won’t appear on the Netflix series that premieres next year. “Although Ashley and Mary-Kate will not be a part of Fuller House, I know how much Full House has meant to them and they are still very much considered family,” Robert L. Boyett said. “It has been exciting to see how they have built their professional careers, and I support their choice to focus on their fashion brands and various business endeavors. I appreciate their support and good wishes towards Fuller House.” The original sitcom ran from 1987-95 on ABC and introduced the world to the twin tots who would grow up to become direct-to-video stars then fashion moguls. The Olsens were less than a year old when Full House launched, and they shared the Michelle role on the series for its entire 193-episode run. Their erstwhile Uncle Jesse, John Stamos, is producing Fuller House, which will star Full House regulars Candice Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweeten and Andrea Barber, with Stamos and Dave Coulier in guest spots. No final word yet on the return of blue-workin’ comic Bob Saget as the Tanner patriarch. Warner Bros first announced it interest in reviving the series in August, and it was confirmed last month.
