The film features a strong cast with stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Olga Kurylenko, Bruce Willis, Bill Murray, Danny Huston and Kelly Lynch, and is set in the world of the 1962 Miami casino-mob. The story follows a powerful Miami Beach hotel owner as he fights the mob, CIA and Cuban mercenaries for survival. Glazer is writing and directing the project, which is based on the Starz series that was cancelled after two seasons. Len Blavatnik of AI Film, Brett Ratner of RatPac, Gerry Schwartz of Onex Corporation and Jacky Bibliowicz will produce and finance, with Steve Bing of Shangri-La Entertainment, Alan J. Helene and Glazer producing. Lotus will launch sales in Cannes. QED International first introduced the project at AFM. CAA will represent the film’s domestic distribution rights, in concert with Jeff Berg. Lotus Entertainment’s current slate includes Tom Tykwer’s A Hologram for a King starring Tom Hanks; Scott Hicks’ Fallen; Sacha Gervasi’s November Criminals with Chloe Moretz and Ansel Elgort; Tanya Wexler’s Replicas starring Keanu Reeves; Luis Prieto’s Kidnap, starring Halle Berry; and Shekhar Kapur’s adventure Tiger's Course.
