There is a movie from 1994 also called Oblivion. It us a Charles Band-Full Moon space western which is not that bad and it was written by Peter David.Anyway, this new Tom Cruise movie is pretty good. The visuals are worth the movie alone. I can't believe they did not shoot this in 3D. You have to pay attention during this movie, or you will lose track of where it is going. This thing had to be expensive with the CGI. Is it worth going to see it? Yes.
