AR Fox's deal with WWNLive.com is coming up and he may not be signing a new deal. Sources indicate there's been some issues between the two sides, specifically Fox being unhappy about some of the flights purchased for him of late. The promotion believed Fox was confirmed for EVOLVE's return to Florida but then he took other bookings. Things are up in the air at the moment.
Since Gabe Sapolsky was so high on him at the King of Indies tournament, Rey Horus (formerly Hijo del Rey Mysterio) is being brought in and will debut at the EVOLVE events in Florida. He's effectively Fox's replacement for the next EVOLVE event.
Ethan Page has signed a WWNLive.com deal.
The promotion is close to closing a deal for a new New York venue in advance of a planned May return. No idea where it is.
EVOLVE 41 will take place on 4/17 in Ybor City, FL at the Orpheum, featuring:
*Best of Three Falls: Roderick Strong vs. Timothy Thatcher with the winner receiving an EVOLVE title shot down the line.
*Johnny Gargano vs. Davey Richards
*Rich Swann vs. Ethan Page
*Biff Busick vs. TJ Perkins
*Caleb Konley with So Cal Val vs. Rey Horus
*Tony Nese with So Cal Val vs. Martin Stone
