www.comicbookresources.com/article/report-jeremy-renners-hawkeye-will-appear-in-captain-america-civil-warJeremy Renner has spent the months building up to "Avengers: Age of Ultron" teasing his next major Marvel Universe appearance. And today confirmation seemingly came without the actor opening his mouth. The Hollywood Reporter has a story up declaring that the actor will join Amy Adams in a new sci-fi film based on acclaimed author Ted Chiang's "The Story of Your Life," and as an afterthought, the piece mentions that Hawkeye will return in "Captain America: Civil War." The speculation over Renner's Hawkeye future started when the actor teased more action via his WhoSay page in January. Since then, he's often mentioned his continuing with the role in interviews, whether it be a cameo in "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." or something else. Meanwhile, he also teased an in canon explanation for his absence from "Captain America: The Winter Soldier." The Hollywood Reporter noted that "Captain America: Civil War" will start filming this spring. It's expected to arrive in theaters May 6, 2016.
