deadline.com/2015/02/bosch-review-amazon-michael-connelly-titus-welliver-1201370774/‘Bosch’ Review: Dominic Patten On Amazon’s you know what Good Hourlong Cop Drama Harry Bosch has been haunting the hills and streets of Los Angeles as a character for two decades in Michael Connelly’s hugely successful crime stories. Now Amazon Studios has brought the LAPD detective to the small screen in Bosch, with Titus Welliver in the lead role. This can be a wrenching show, but, as I say in my video review above, it’s a you know what good one. The entire 10-episode first season debuts February 13 on Amazon as the online giant’s first hourlong drama series. The pilot, which was first posted for audience review around this time last year, is now up to check out. In a great move, Los Angeles itself is as much a highly textured character in the series as Welliver and his castmates, who include Scott Wilson (The Walking Dead), Mimi Rogers, Lance Riddick and Jamie Hector (Magic City). The pilot was directed by Jim McKay, and the series was developed by Eric Overmyer, who worked on HBO’s The Wire and Treme. Overmyer and Connelly wrote the scripts. Connelly is an EP on Bosch. Are you an Amazon Prime member? Will you be watching Bosch? Check out my review and let us know.
