Allegiance’ Producer Rashad Raisani Inks Overall Deal With Universal TV
Rashad Raisani, exec producer on NBC’s upcoming “Allegiance,” has inked an overall deal with Universal Television. The two-year pact will go into effect this June.
Before being upped to exec producer from co-exec producer on Universal TV’s “Allegiance,” Raisani worked on “White Collar” and “Burn Notice,” beginning his career as a staff writer on the latter. He served seven seasons on the show, ending his run as co-exec producer.
“We’re so pleased to have Rashad join us in this new capacity at Universal Television, where we will all benefit from his intelligence and terrific instincts,” said Bela Bajaria, executive vice president, Universal Television. “We were fans of Rashad’s work on ‘Burn Notice’ and ‘White Collar,” and having his expertise on ‘Allegiance’ has been invaluable.”
“Allegiance” premieres this Thursday on NBC.
Raisani is repped by UTA and manager Larry Shuman.
