deadline.com/2015/01/emile-hirsch-sundance-fight-paramount-executive-1201359685/Park City police are investigating a fight that broke out early Sunday morning at a Main Street club during the Sundance Film Festival in which actor Emile Hirsch and a female Paramount Pictures film executive had a physical altercation. The scuffle was at Tao, where one of several Sundance Film Festival parties was going full-steam. The NY Post‘s Page Six, which first reported the news, said police were called at around 3:30 AM local time after the exec told security what happened. No arrests were made, and a source is telling us the incident was not of a sexual nature. Paramount had no comment today. “Currently this is an active case that we’re still investigating,” said Capt. Phil Kirk, CIO of the Park City PD. “We’ll be submitting the case to the Summit County Attorney’s Office for screening as soon as we complete the investigation.” Hirsch is at Sundance with his latest pic Ten Thousand Saints, which had its world premiere Friday in the Premieres section. Shari Springer Berman and Robert Pulcini directed the pic, set in New York City in the late 1980s, about the son of diehard hippies who embarks on an odyssey to the extremities of late-20th century youth culture. Ethan Hawke, Asa Butterfield, Emily Mortimer, Julianne Nicholson and Hailee Steinfeld also star.
