From www.f4wonline.comThe premiere of Impact Wrestling on Destination America has been announced for Wednesday, January 7th at 9 p.m. ET, which is what was expected. However, that's just a special timeslot for the for week, and the following week they move to their permanent slot of Fridays at 9 p.m. ET. Umm...weren't they supposed to be Destination America's flagship programming? You don't put a flagship show like that on a Friday. Just look at how much the move to Friday hurt SmackDown. Not that the move to a much weaker network wasn't bad enough, but...wow. Destination America is not shifting their programming at all. This isn't much that different from ECW on TNN, to be honest. There will also be a 12 hour marathon of TNA programming on the 7th leading into the debut, an immediate replay at 11 p.m., and a Saturday morning remixed version of the show. So at least they have a shot at some decent cumulative exposure. All the details are at the link: www.impactwrestling.com/news/item/6252-DESTINATION-AMERICA-PINS-DOWN-DEBUT-DATE-FOR-IMPACT-WRESTLING
