Executive Producers Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen have told EW.com that yes, the ABC series is slated to tie in to Marvel Studios' "Avengers: Age of Ultron." "You should expect something," Whedon said when asked about a potential crossover between the show and film. "'The Avengers' is the big tent that all the franchises play under. Obviously, we’re included in that." "I don’t think any movie has the potential to impact us in the way that 'Captain America 2' did," Tancharoen added about the way the series and movie will interact with each other, "but there will be connections." The mid-season finale of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." airs tonight at 9PM on ABC. Check back with CBR after the show airs for a rundown of the episode's biggest moments with EPs Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen.
